Scott R. Magee specializes in Estate Planning, Probate, Conservatorships, Closely Held and Family-Owned Businesses, Real Estate, Transactional Tax Matters and the Representation of Trustees and Beneficiaries in Contested and Uncontested Trust Matters. Since 1985, he has been planning complex estates and all of the legal, tax and personal issues which arise in connection with such planning. Scott also has extensive experience assisting trustees in the administration of trusts, including contested matters.

Scott received his B.S. Degree in 1981 from California State University, Long Beach, his J. D. Degree in 1984 from Pepperdine University School of Law, and his LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University School of Law in 1985.

Scott is currently the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach, on the Board of Advisors for the Long Beach Community Foundation and is a member of the Professional Advisors Committee of the Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach. Scott is the former president of Palos Verdes Peninsula Rotary Club, South Bay Estate Planning and Trust Council and Long Beach Estate Planning and Trust Council and formerly a member of the Board of the Trustees of the Long Beach Symphony Foundation, and its Chief Financial Officer.

Scott is a member of the State Bar of California and is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating attainable.
